This was my ride last weekend. I’ve arrived at my new home of Buffalo, New York!
This westward migration has been several months in the making. My two youngest moved with Joanie to her hometown in Canada; I’ve come here to be closer to the border for the kids (2.5 hours) yet remain in the States to continue my federal career.
I came to Buffalo not knowing anybody, and people have been incredibly friendly and welcoming. So far I’ve been to Niagara Falls, ate famous wings at Anchor Bar, toured downtown, felt the wind and waves of Lake Erie, and heard about a ton of other things to see and do. I’ve never been to a town where people universally say how much they love living there.
