If I appear thin and malnourished, it's because over November Joanie again has been participating in NaNoWriMo, a.k.a. National Novel Writing Month. And she won!

You spend the month writing 50,000 words of your Great American Novel along with thousands of your fellow unshorn, bathrobe-clad peers. The name of the game is getting the writing process started and flowing.
