Swim to the left 20 miles and you're in México. This week I saw a video of San Diego photographer Ken Rockwell demonstrating Photoshop techniques on his photo of this pier, and it hit me I had never posted my surfer pictures (I'm always about 10 shoots behind). There must be a thousand colors in the waves. Can you find the surfer in the second picture?
I took these at sunset near Crystal Pier in San Diego in early 2009. When the light was gone I walked up to a beach-side restaurant for a delicious swordfish steak with my co-workers. That was one great evening.
